things to do: Walkerville and Sandy Point

If you're exploring the beaches of South Gippsland, Walkerville and Sandy Point offer some of the best. Just 20 minutes south east of River Drive Motel, Walkerville is a small community surrounding stunning beaches that look out across to Wilson's Promontory. Several walks can take you around the historic lime kilns, cemetery and the legendary Walkerville Kiosk.

Head further along the coast to Sandy Point to explore the Shallow Inlet Coastal Park and patrolled surf beach.
