Head around 20 minutes north from River Drive Motel towards Leongatha and you'll come across the charming rural towns of Koonwarra and Meeniyan.

Both towns are a great place to stock up on locally sourced produce to keep you well fed during your stay and if you're eating out, there are a number of excellent cafes and restaurants to try.

During cooler weather, a walk or cycle along the Great Southern Rail Trail that connects the two towns is a great way to spend a day.
