things to do: Inverloch, Wonthaggi and Cape Paterson

Follow the coast-line west a short drive from River Drive Motel and you'll come across the coastal city of Inverloch. Busiest during the summer months, Inverloch offers sheltered beach access to Anderson's Inlet as well as a patrolled surf beach with an excellent, consistent break. As the largest beachside city in the area, Inverloch also features a number of quality cafes and restaurants.

Head further west along the coast towards Cape Paterson for access to another excellent patrolled surf beach or stop along the way to explore the caves and rock pools dotted along the stunning coast-line.

Head north from Cape Paterson and you'll come across the regional city of Wonthaggi which has a heap of quality vintage stores, local produce, parks and cafes.
